Black and White
Whenever we think of these two colours, people immediately assume that black stands for evil while white represents all that is good and pure. Well, can someone tell me, what exactly do you mean by good?
I mean, say there's a murderer who did something really bad (I wonder what, maybe a murder?) and he was sentenced to death by execution or something. Well, does that make the people who did that any better? I mean, sure the murderer might have killed someone but does that make what the judge and the executioner and all those other people good? Because, if you think about it, they are killing someone too.
But that's not all. Some people use religion as a excuse to go killing others. Like erm... some people in history. They ruthlessly slaughtered people and what was their excuse? Oh, they were trying to change their beliefs, that's all. Still, it didn't explain why they tortured them; I mean, if you are trying to change people's beliefs, you wouldn't go cutting off their limbs and stuff, you'd just baptise them (if you were Christian) and go home. Wouldn't you?
Well, white could stand for innocence and all that, but white could also mean many different colours all together ( for example, take the Lord of the Rings: remember Saruman?) . So, if white was a lot of colours squashed together, could that mean that good is a whole lot of supposedly good acts combined?(Look at the examples above if you don't understand.)
P.S.: Some of these things mentioned are not meant to offence.
P.P.S.: Some things were read in places and are meant to plagurise
